Atlanta, GA, October 30, 2019 – At the 2019 NACV show MEKRA Lang showcased the newest additions to their Indirect Vision Systems portfolio, including the launch of their Digital Vision
System into series production as standard equipment on the Mercedes Actros Trucks. Their commitment to improving safety, fuel consumption, and ergonomics has been a primary driving

Keeping today’s truck drivers in mind, MEKRA Lang’s system is focused on providing a low transitional adjustment phase from glass mirrors, while also providing the driver with more features
than ever before. One example of this technology is their digital trailer panning, which seamlessly moves the field of view in accordance with the articulation angle of the trailer. Another is their
driver assistance overlays. These features, along with many more, offer the driver an unparalleled level of comfort, and help to improve their driving and road confidence.
MEKRA’s single lens, off axis optical system is a key part of how they maintain the ability to provide both consistent image quality and tailor unique views for their customers without the need
for complex panoramic stitching. This optical design also allows them to maintain a straight vehicle body reference as well as optimal image resolution in areas that have been traditionally
